Plywood is of two types, 1 - waterproof, 2- without waterproof. Without waterproof is two types. 1-MR 2-Commercial First of all we know about waterproof plywood. Strong things are made by adding thin pieces of wood together. It's called plywood.

In a mixture of phenol, formaldehyde, caustic soda, and water, the adhesive is made of this thin wood, This is called water proof plywood. It is made in different thicknesses and sizes.

Its standard size is 8 × 4,7 × 4,6 × 4,5 × 4,8 × 3,7 × 3,6 × 3,5 × 3,7 × 2.5,6 × 2.5, And the standard thickness is 4mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 16mm, 19mm, 25mm, etc. A water-proof plywood is made from high-pressure machines at a temperature of 140 to 145 degrees. In this high-pressure machine, each thickness is kept at a plus 3 minutes, for example 6mm is placed inside the high pressure machine for 9 minutes.and 9mm is 12 minutes,12mm is 15 minutes,16mm is 19 minutes,19mm is 22 minutes.

It is mainly made from raw materials, safeda wood, poplar wood, rubber wood, and gurjan wood. Gurjan Plywood is one of the strongest and most strengthfull of all woods.This type of wood is commonly found in Burma and Malaysia.

In our country, the abundance of safeda and poplar wood is usually found in northern India. The core veneer has a thickness of 1.8 and 2.5 mm.

Similarly, M R plywood contains a mixture of formaldehyde,melamine and urea.and commercial ply wood contains a mixture formaldehyde and urea.

M R plywood is pressed at 110 to 120 degrees Celsius Temperature in high pressure machines.and commercial ply wood is pressed at 105 to 110 degrees Celsius Temperature.and In this high-pressure machine, each thickness is kept at a plus 2 minutes,

for example 6mm is placed inside the high pressure machine for 8 minutes,8mm is 10 minutes,12mm is 14 minutes,15mm is 17minutes,18mm is 21 minutes.
